Programme for budding social entrepreneurs

As the Social Entrepreneur in Residence, Silent Cities founder Justine Gaubert, has been working with the University of Sheffield to develop a Social Innovation programme for students. The programme begins with a Social Innovation Lab for students with ‘seed’ ideas, who may then progress to the ‘Accelerator’ programme which gives a packet of support, from mentors to Action Learning Sets, to help them convert their ideas into financially sustainable social enterprises. The programme has been informed by many of the best practice elements Justine has encountered on her journey, including the wonderful School for Social Entrepreneurs Yorkshire and SCEDU.
